Teaching
After having served as an assistant piano at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp for almost 10 years, Nikolaas was appointed professor of piano at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp in 2015, where he has had a well established class since then.
Many of the leading talents of Belgium have been studying under his guidance next to the international students, being successful at competitions and on main concerthalls and festivals.
Additionally, Nikolaas teaches at the Academy of Antwerp, Ma'go!, where young and talented students are guided towards later studies at conservatory.

Nikolaas has given masterclasses in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Texas and California. He is a well demanded for masterclasses in China, where he returns every year.
